Stormwater Inspector, QSP/QSD

Stormwater Plans Assistant

  • QSP or QSD Highly Preferred, transferable relevant skills strongly desired for this role

  • Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE

  • Perform SWPPP inspections on construction sites to ensure water quality

  • Create & submit reports

  • Monday - Friday at various hours with occasional overtime (full-time; 40 hours/week)

  • Complete reports and paperwork in accordance with state and regional requirements

  • Requires extensive walking on construction sites (sometimes in inclement weather)

  • Requires driving long distances to/from/on construction sites (sometimes in inclement weather)

  • Construction experience highly preferred

  • Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE

  • Monday - Friday (full-time; 40 hours/week)

  • Develop Water Pollution Control Plans/Amendments and eventually transition into writing additional plan types.

  • Assists with managing submittals email and client correspondence, inputting new projects into Asana, setting up client folders, downloading plans and specs, assigning tasks and designating templates, updating schedule, associated spreadsheets.

  • Assisting with maintaining project permit compliance, including SMARTS application entry and submittals for NOIs, COIs, Adhocs, Annual Reports, and NOTs. Helps prepare permit registration documents for in-house inspectors and outside clients.

  • Requires strong attention to detail and skills in technical writing, grammar, basic mathematic skills, and map development
