Annual Reports | Frequently Asked Questions

Sites with one or more acre(s) for soil disturbance and a Stormwater Construction General permit (e.g. City, County, or Private Projects) have Annual Reports that have to be certified by the owner and submitted to the California Water Board by September 1st, 2018 via SMARTS.

Projects with the following…

  • 1+ acres of Soil Disturbance
  • Risk Level 1, 2, and 3 Sites
  • SWPPP Projects
  • Stormwater Construction General Permit
  • City, County, or Private Projects

Note: This does not apply to sites with an Erosivity Waiver

We have got you covered! Almost all Annual Reports have been completed on our part. We will notify you via email when we have submitted your report in the SMARTS system. All that you have to do is have the owner of your project certify and review the report in SMARTS before September 1st, 2018.

Not to worry, we’ve got your back!  We can assist with entering ad hoc data in the SMARTS system, researching storm event data, compiling the BMP deficiencies and corrective actions quarterly summary, preparing your annual report and filing it online in the SMARTS system.
